Apple Carplay™ and Android Auto™ is now available for older vehicles with MAZDA CONNECT! 2018 Mazda6 and 2019 CX-3 owners (with vehicles built before September 1, 2018) get a limited time special pricing!
The Mazda Connect is Mazda's car connectivity system that enables you to safely enjoy the convenience of your smartphone while in your car. It was first introduced in select 2014 model year vehicles.
This is what the Mazda Connect system looks like.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allow for a seamless integration between your Mazda and your Apple/Android smartphone. Designed with safety in mind, you can connect your device to your car and use certain apps on your phone - straight from your Mazda Connect Infotainment system.
Access the following:
Apple CarPlay™ Interface
You can get directions, make calls, send and receive messages, listen to music without taking your eye off the road. With voice control, you can access Siri/Google Assistant by pressing the voice control button on the steering wheel. Here are some commands:
"Call Mom"
"Play The Beatles"
"Find the nearest gas station"
"Reply I'll be there in 15 minutes"
You can also use the command controller to navigate the interface or use the touch-screen (when the vehicle is not in motion).
Android Auto™ Interface
There are various apps (Waze, Spotify, WhatsApp, Podcasts) that are supported with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so you can take your favourite podcast, or music with you on the go! Eliminate the plug-in GPS and get directions on the go straight from your phone with voice-guided Navigation, lane guidance and much more!
